It's been a whole year since IT Basecamp's inaugural trivia night to raise money and show support for the Hooke family as they dealt with a cancer diagnosis. Since then we've watched so many more people touched by cancer that we want to continue to make a difference. The trivia night was such a roaring success with lots of laughs and friendships we've decided to do it all again in March.
Stay tuned for the exact date, but if you're in a position to donate a prize we'd love to hear from you! We were overwhelmed last year by your support and the huge variety of prizes helped make it a fabulous night. Stand up paddleboards, massages, flower bouquets, coffee vouchers, restaurant meals, vouchers for professional services, car servicing, bakery goods, health and fitness training - everything large and small was very much appreciated.
Proceeds from this year's trivia night will go to Tour de Cure, the cancer charity focussed on funding "the boldest research, the most talented scientists and the world-class cancer projects that we believe will have the biggest impact".
Yes, I have a prize I can donate for the 2020 trivia night.
ITBasecamp acknowledges the traditional owners and custodians of the country in this area and pay our respects to elders past, present and emerging. The South Coast of New South Wales where we live is Yuin country but indigenous people here come from a number of different groups including Brinja-Yuin, Budawang, Jerrinja, Murramarang, Walbunja, Wandandian and Wodi Wodi. We recognise their continuing connection and contribution to this land.
