First ISO27001.2022 compliance audit complete

It's already a year since IT Basecamp became ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems (QMS) and ISMS 27001 Information Security Management Systems (ISMS)-accredited and we've now successfully completed our first yearly surveillance audit. This time the ISMS 27001 assessment was done at the new ISMS 27001.2022 standard.

ISO and ISMS certification is about a process of continuing improvement and assessment to make sure a business is always strengthening its standards and performance benchmarks:

• ISO QMS is based on the principle of documenting processes, procedures, and responsibilities for achieving quality policies and objectives with a strong customer focus.
• ISMS certification encompasses policies and procedures for systematically managing an organisation’s sensitive data to minimize risk and ensure business continuity by limiting any impact of a security breach. It includes proactive security management of the physical environment, the software and hardware data technology infrastructure, plus HR training.
