Four new sites refresh the Schools' image: a cohesive brand with individual school flair

Andrew Middleton, Executive Head, leads St Peter's Anglican Grammar, St Peter’s Heart, and Broughton Anglican College in providing the children of South-West Sydney with quality education consistent with the teachings of the Bible. Core goals include teaching a sense of purpose and responsibility, compassion, thoughtfulness, and forgiveness while encouraging a journey of lifelong learning.
Our work
IT Basecamp’s role was to design and implement a new website for each of the schools, plus a parent site to represent Campbelltown Anglican Schools as a whole. The aim was to unify the group by presenting a cohesive identity that still allows each school to communicate its unique character and offerings.
IT Basecamp’s lead web developer, Alex, worked closely with the Schools to deliver individual websites that are visually engaging for users, practical in use, and technically strong. IT Basecamp specialises in building robust websites, mobile-first and from the ground up, without using templates that create bloated code. Technical considerations like these are important for a good user experience and strong Google ranking once a site goes live.
The St Peter’s Heart website was developed free of charge under IT Basecamp’s profit-for-purpose ethos. It’s about deliberately focusing on how we can make a positive impact in the world and give back. The St Peter’s Heart School is dedicated to being an inclusive learning community for students with mild to moderate autism or intellectual disability. Providing a dedicated website for St Peter’s Heart is our contribution towards supporting this initiative.
The outcome
According to Andrew Middleton, the new websites have been warmly embraced by the schools’ community, and he has delighted in the spirit of collaboration and professionalism shown by IT Basecamp throughout the journey.

The South Coast of New South Wales where we live is Yuin country but indigenous people here come from a number of different groups including Brinja-Yuin, Budawang, Jerrinja, Murramarang, Walbunja, Wandandian and Wodi Wodi. We recognise their continuing connection and contribution to this land.
